2009 Shoot Report - Iron Man - 4th & 5th July at The Route

Ulster Skeet Club ( Iron Man 200 Bird ) 3rd & 4th July held at Route Gun Club

Both good days for shooting, entry’s down on last year 26 & 25 on each day. Prizes given out on both days Friday class prizes only and Saturday the usual USC high guns AA/A & B/C and class prizes – the Iron Man Trophy’s for the best score over the 200 Birds in each class with an overall High Gun

The Friday scores in AA had Kenny McAuley with 98 with Roy Stewart & Shiels Hessin on 96 – A Class Richard Dowse on 99 with the nearest rival 5 birds behind however B & C was very tight B Class with Jason McIntyre on a 98 ( had shot his first 75 straight ) three others on 96 Paul Cooper, Jackie Loughrey & Alistair McCready in C Class on 91 was Martin Crossan& Jason Hargy on 90 was Mark Kennedy and 4 shooters on 88.

The Saturday scores in AA Class Kenny McAuley & Billy Geary on 98 in A Class Richard Dowse finished on another 99. However things where very interesting in the B Class P Cooper, J Loughrey, G Roulston & I Corbett where battling it out Loughrey & Corbett finished on 97 with Cooper & Roulston on 96. C Class was very interesting V Ferguson was in great form and finished on a 95 with B McClements on a 93.
