Shoot Name: THE BIG ONE.

34 Participants competed on a cold morning started a bit later than expeted but the shoot was finished at 3 pm. At the 50 stage in class A ( only one AA moved him to A class ) one straight Ramond Kennedy with three on 49 Cooper, Stewart, Geary. In B class Martin Crossan on 48 with Mark Sneddon, McClements, Haughy, King, McGeeghan on 47. In C class Frank Cardwell on 49 with one chaser on 47 Norrie McIntyre.

The 75 stage in saw Raymond keep the pressure on "still straight" and his competetitors falling away he completed his last 25 straight shooting a very good 100. In B Mark Sneddon did a straight he must have thought he was home and dry and took his foot off the gas and dropped 3 on his last line leaving him on 94 Billy McClements had his chance to overtake him but droped 2 himself - 93 scored. Class C Frank Cardwell finished on 95 (Last shoot in class C ) two tied for second place Norrie McIntyre and Gareth McAuley 92.

The customary USC shoot off commenced - there was shoot offs to get to the last two places in each class because there was no AA four competed in A class for the high gun prize.

A class - Kennedy, Stewart, Geary and Smith - Kennedy justified his 100 straight with winning the shoot off for A high gun.
B / C class sneddon won through he must be a candidate for moving up a class.

The payout was boosted by the addition of sponsored monies this enables the Skeet Club to payout the prizes it does.

The AGM for the Skeet Club was held after the meeting one change to the present officers - John Church ( chairman ),
Richard Dowse ( secretary ), Roy Stewart ( treasurer ).
